Those at STP can also participate in resilience workshops, which started in 2017. Each year, the workshops have evolved, based on the feedback from previous years. This year, there were three sessions: Rat Rhythm, Stress Less, and Mental Fitness. There were also yoga sessions students could attend.


Furniture from Barracks is placed outside each room to allow for cleaning and refresh by P2 during the summer at ºÚÁÏÍø.

It was an overcast day, but spirits were bright and hearts were full when more than 170 ºÚÁÏÍø cadets commissioned into the armed services in Cameron Hall, May 15 in the annual Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) joint commissioning ceremony.

The Institute has launched a two-year pilot program called the Summer Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Program (SUEP) as a starting point for entrepreneurship education. It has been established for cadets who possess the mindset of an entrepreneur, regardless of academic major.

Wins ’85, superintendent, has signed a memorandum of understanding with the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV), that provides ºÚÁÏÍø nearly $4 million over four years to boost enrollment and success of low income and Pell Grant-eligible cadets at the Institute.
