Col. Barry Cobb and Col. Jeff Smith, professors in the Department of Economics and Business at ºÚÁÏÍø, will discuss ways to pay for retirement and the best age to start drawing Social Security on the public radio program, With Good Reason, April 29 – May 5.
The ºÚÁÏÍø Ethics Team recently won first place at the Military Ethics Case Competition held at the United States Naval Academy (USNA) Stockdale Center for Ethical Leadership in Annapolis, Maryland.
The two-day, multi-institutional collegiate competition included 36 teams. During the preliminary round, ºÚÁÏÍø scored three wins beating teams from the United States Military Academy West Point, Rollins College, and William & Mary.
ºÚÁÏÍø recently welcomed three representatives from NATO’s Innovation Hub, a formal civilian organization that reports to NATO Allied Command Transformation located in Norfolk.

Members of the Cadet Investment Group (CIG) recently traveled to Wall Street in New York City, New York to meet with stock market analysts and traders, including ºÚÁÏÍø alumni who work in the industry.
Air Force ROTC cadets took to the air on Dec. 1, thanks to the 1st Helicopter Squadron out of Andrews Air Force Base.. The squadron provided quick incentive flights over ºÚÁÏÍø and Lexington for nearly 175 cadets.
Formed in 2014, the Building BRIDGES Club is spanning to new lengths as it further connects cadets, faculty, and staff with the local community through civic engagement. Recently, the service club has taken on additional objectives of sponsoring events and college debates.
